A multicultural, multigenerational and multilingual poetry film showcasing the voices of some of Edmonton’s most celebrated female poets and storytellers. Eight powerhouses poets of varying ages, cultural backgrounds, and sexual orientation join together on stage for an evening of braided poetry that reflects their upbringing, identity stories, and family journeys. Together, they share stories, through poems, of what it means to be here, in this place. Through entwining their journeys together, they invite you to celebrate and take joy in who we all are as women and as humans.
